Bob visited the Hare Krishna Temple on 5th September to celebrate Janamashtami. Bob met many key dignitaries of the temple, addressed the crowd from the stage and toured the extensive grounds. Bob assisted the Temple back in 1987 when the popularity of the Temple meant that traffic problems in the surrounding village meant that Hertsmere Council threatened to close the Temple. Bob provided assistance to the Temple in the battle to survive. This is now the foremost Hindu temple in England.
Bob said, “I have been a supporter of the Temple for 23 years and will look forward to providing more assistance to promote the development of more facilities for devotees on the site whilst preserving the green areas of the land.”
