All Saints Church Fair

On 10th July, Bob attended the All Saints Church Fair; Bob is pictured here with newly elected Harrow Weald Conservative Councillor Stephen Greek outside the church.  The Church Fair was well attended and a wide variety of different stalls provided attendees with opportunities to eat, drink, buy goods, see various animals and win prizes.

Stanmore College

On 8th July, Bob attended the Stanmore College Annual end of year lunch. Here Bob is pictured with the College Principal, Jacqui Mace. The College was able to celebrate the achievements of students, recognise those lecturers who were retiring and look to the future development of Further Education.

Cedars School

On 2nd July, Bob became the first MP ever to visit the Cedars School and he was privileged to watch the special end of term play produced by the schoolchildren. Bob is pictured here with the children who took part in the play.

Kennedy Scott

On 2nd July Bob visited the offices of Kennedy Scott who provide training and support for the long –term unemployed to help them back into jobs. The company also help those who are over 50, ex-offenders and other groups of people who have difficulty finding employment.

Aspire Training Centre

In July, Bob visited the Aspire Training Centre which supports people with spinal cord injury to live independently.  Bob is working with Aspire to establish a practical solution to the provision of a lift at Stanmore Station.

June in Parliament

Bob has been active in the chamber, asking important questions to Simon Burns, Minister for Health about the future funding for Northwick Park Hospital and Harrow Primary Care Trust. The quality and future of healthcare in Harrow East is a key priority for Bob and Mr Burns confirmed to Bob that everything will be done to ensure that the “maximum amount of money is made available to Primary Care Trusts and Northwick Park Hospital.”
