Holi celebrations at Stanmore Mandir

Bob attended the Holi celebrations at Stanmore temple to celebrate the miraculous escape that young Prahlad accomplished when Demoness Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu, carried him into the fire. Holika was burnt but Prahlad, a staunch devotee of god Vishnu, escaped without any injuries due to his unshakable devotion. Bob was pleased to witness the lighting of the bonfire and observe the colouring celebrations.

Guest speaker at British Asian Conservative Link dinner at Carlton Club

The British Asian Conservative Link recently hosted an event in celebration of Bob Blackman's electoral victory. The well attended dinner was held at the Carlton Club and Bob joined Mr. Suri and Mr. Rickie Sehgal in speaking at the event and lent his support to Cllr Sachin Rajput in his fight to win the GLA seat of Harrow & Brent.
