CLG Committee visit to Exeter and Torbay

In his capacity as a member of the Communities and Local Government Select Committee Bob visited Exeter and Torbay for the Localism Inquiry. On Friday 21st January, Bob Blackman MP has officially opened a wheelchair hiring facility at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.   Wheels 4 Ease, which is operated by the Friends of the RNOH, offers short-term wheelchair hire for local users and local patients of the RNOH.

Bentley Wood Students Visit Westminster

On Tuesday 18th January, Bob Blackman welcomed a contingent of students from Bentley Wood School to the House of Commons. 209 Headstone Lane Launch

A reception was held at the new premises at 209 Headstone Lane to welcome key supporters and activists to the new facilities on Saturday 8th January. Kenton Temple

Bob visited Kenton Swaminarayan Hindu temple to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the building of the temple and also the award of planning permission to further develop the adjacent educational facilities. Councillor Manji Kara was the chief sponsor of the event and the Mayor of Harrow plus several councillors also attended. Bob and Manji had also assisted the visiting Saints to ensure that they received visas in time for the celebration.
