Bob visited several events on Sewa and Mitzvah day including the efforts to request customers to donate food outside Sainsbury’s and other shops in Edgware, Harrow and Golder’s Green. Bob also visited the Ashiana function in Harrow High School where the young people served food and entertained the elderly.
London: Bob Blackman MP pledged to support a new campaigning coalition in Parliament that has been formed to increase organ donation and transplantation in the NHS. Transplant 2013 was established by patient groups, professional bodies and industry to represent the combined voice of the transplantation community and to support the implementation of existing national initiatives to substantially increase the numbers of organs being transplanted in the NHS.
Bob attended the Tesco store in Belmont Circle to give out the awards to local schools who had collected vouchers for various pieces of educational equipment. The schoolchildren all enjoyed the selection of food and soft drinks available as well as receiving their awards!
Bob attended the Harrow Civic Service at the Civic Centre and laid a wreath on behalf of Harrow residents. Bob is a regular attendee at this event and strongly believes that we must continue to honour those who have laid down their lives in the service of their country.
