Canons Park Fun day

On 18th July, Bob attended the Canons Park Fun day and saw at first hand the various stalls and activities including the brass band and five a side football. Bob was also given a tour of the park learned all about the history of the area.

Busy Diary

On 18th July Bob attended the SKLPC Mela, on 25th July, Bob attended a celebration at the Buddhist Centre. On 23rd July, Bob visited the 27th Wealdstone Scouts to see at first hand the work carried out on a voluntary basis. On 10th July, Bob visited the Whitefriars School centenary celebrations. On 3rd July, Bob attended the Whitchurch School Fete and St. Luke’s Hospice Fete.

The Lotus Trust Sponsored Walk

On 18th July, Bob participated in a sponsored walk promoted by The Lotus Trust to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Harrow Youth Parliament

On 16th July, Bob visited the Harrow Youth Parliament to hear at first hand their plans to encourage young people to take positive action to help the Harrow community. Bob then spoke in the debate in the House of Commons supporting the UK Youth Parliament being allowed to debate in the House of Commons in October.

All Saints Church Fair

On 10th July, Bob attended the All Saints Church Fair; Bob is pictured here with newly elected Harrow Weald Conservative Councillor Stephen Greek outside the church.  The Church Fair was well attended and a wide variety of different stalls provided attendees with opportunities to eat, drink, buy goods, see various animals and win prizes.

Stanmore College

On 8th July, Bob attended the Stanmore College Annual end of year lunch. Here Bob is pictured with the College Principal, Jacqui Mace. The College was able to celebrate the achievements of students, recognise those lecturers who were retiring and look to the future development of Further Education.

Cedars School

On 2nd July, Bob became the first MP ever to visit the Cedars School and he was privileged to watch the special end of term play produced by the schoolchildren. Bob is pictured here with the children who took part in the play.
